It is all well and good reading the news on prisons, but it’s a bit pointless if you don’t understand it, right? Listen to our AudioAnalysis podcasts to help you understand all the news and current affairs surrounding prisons.

Prison Watch UK is starting an AudioAnalysis podcast to help you make sense of the week’s news.

What is an AudioAnalysis podcast?

We hope that by: putting stories in their wider context, providing explainers, giving political and historical insight and further statistical analysis; we will be able to help you interpret the news about prisons much more readily.

It is a complimentary podcast to our weekly Prisons in the Press posts.

So, based on the stories that came up in this week’s Prisons in the Press, we hope to explain:

  • What is TTIP? And how might it affect prisons?

  • Who are G4S? And how do they affect our justice system?

  • How does the media report on prisoners?
